Blocks 111-115

Please keep in mind that all this work was done by people.  People who sometimes make mistakes.

I have tried to ensure that I am posting the actual information provided in 1990-1992.
The colours may not be perfect, nor the photo quality.
I'm hoping to see this beauty in person one day to take some better pics.

Enjoy blocks 111-115
I typed the poem from Block 114 I hope I got it right!

Piecing, Applique, Embroidery

Patchwork Perfect
Warmth from our homespun quilt of comfort
Snuggled 'neath folds of cotton clouds, I get my 'high'
Entranced by the patchwork squares of colour as the Trans-Canada sails me by
A kaleidoscopial ribbon, binding greys and blues and how many hues of purple
Symmetrical mountains in a satin sea
A log beam in the harbor and a stitch away
Contented fishermen cast their thoughts into the waves
Tracing my fingers over borders, through mosaic cities
To caress a velvety sugarbush autumn or a flannel spruce winter
and fondle the golden hemmed prairies
Off like a bird soaring over the harmonious patterns
and touching down gently upon dawn
